Here She Is!!!

Here she is!!  She’s finally home!!  I would’ve posted this picture yesterday but the tow truck ran into traffic and was a little later than expected.  Thanks again to Reggie at Baton Rouge Towing Service for helping push this girl up the driveway and into the garage!  I could not have pushed it in myself.  Even with his help I was out of breath.  I guess that means it’s time to start exercising!!!  As mentioned earlier, I’ll put together a list of work to be done followed by a plan of action to get this ol’ girl back on the road where she belongs!!!  No trailer queen here!!

Home at last!!

Today is the day!!  This has been my dream for so long!  I can barely contain my excitement!  Just in case you haven’t noticed all the exclamation marks!!!  I was told by my father many years ago that the 1965 Ford Mustang that we built for my grandmother would be mine!!  YES, PLEASE!!!  Now, let me shine some light on the fact that this car although means a lot has been neglected for many years.  It’s going to need a lot of work but so long as it doesn’t completely bankrupt me I’ll do it……………well most of it.  Once she’s home I’ll assess the needs of the car and write a list and put together a plan of action.  I’m so excited and can’t wait for the tow truck to arrive!!  Let me give a quick shout out and big thanks to the guys at Baton Rouge Towing Service for their assistance.  The driver went above and beyond getting the car on the truck.  It should take about a hour to get here with traffic and this has been the longest hour ever!!!!!  I’ll post a pic when she gets here!!
